Camp can be the most important week of your child's year. They make new friends, learn to love the outdoors and try new and exciting activities like Canoeing, Bazooka Ball, Exploding Watermelons, Swimming, Water Slides, Water Balloon War, and more
Every camper joins a team led by camp counselors who care about them and want to make their week special. Each team competes against other teams at different games and challenges while earning points. Each morning begins with a rally, team cheers, skits, and songs. Every Thursday we host a "Water Day" with water slides, a water balloon war, and a shaving cream battle. On Friday winning teams are announced and awards are given. Many campers have described the week as "life-changing". Our campers make new friends, try new activities, overcome fears, and have fun in a safe and caring environment.
Day Camps at Brand Christian Camp Schedule
Brand Camp 1
Jul 20th - Jul 24th- Graduated 1st - 6th
- 8:30 AM - 4:30PM
Brand Camp 2
Jul 27th - Jul 31st- Completed 1st - 6th Grades
- 8:30 AM - 4:30PM
We pick up at 8:30AM and drop off at 4:30PM. The buses will be in place by 8AM each morning and will leave no later than 8:30AM (we do not wait for late arrivers). This year we will again be picking up from Valley Baptist Retreat in Mission, Texas and La Plaza Mall in McAllen, Texas. We will be taking the campers by bus through Bentsen State Park to Brand Christian Camp. Brand Christian Camp is located next to Bentsen State Park, we drive through the park to camp.

FAQ's
Staff and Volunteers: We have more than 20 years of experience hosting camps. All of our staff and volunteers go through a thorough screening and training process. We perform background checks and provide training that meets state requirements.
Transportation: We will provide a pickup and drop-off service from Valley Baptist Retreat in Mission, Texas and from La Plaza Mall in McAllen.
T-shirt: This year each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Please indicate your child's t-shirt size on the online registration form.
Lunch: All campers will need to bring a sack lunch each day of Daycamp. We will provide snacks and water throughout the day. Please inform us of any food allergies your child has.
Location: Brand Christian Camp is next to Bentsen State Park. We drive through the park to access the camp.
Prices: Camp costs $210 per week. The rate will increase to $230 per week June 2nd. The average cost of a Daycamp in the US is $451 per week. We can only offer these discounted rates because of the support of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
REGISTRATION IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE AND THERE IS LIMITED SPACE, ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR. WE WILL BE OFFERING LESS THAN HALF OUR NORMAL NUMBER OF CAMP SPOTS.
Scholarships: We have scholarships available if you need financial assistance.
